Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Handles Well
  • Adequate Power
  • Smooth Ride
  • Comfortable
  • Lots of Features

  • Poor Gas Mileage

As the owner of an Infinity QX56 I can truly say, that the stability, luxury and overall convenience that my car has given me is the absolute best, bar none. Personally, I do a lot of traveling both in the city as well as out in the woods and forest located on the outskirts of town during our frequent family trips. With its spacious interior and great ride quality, it is as efficient in the city as it is on terrain that would otherwise seriously damage smaller cars. Especially when I am out camping, I'm never far from technology. I would suggest upgrading to one of the many amenities packages, specifically the XM satellite radio, heated steering wheel, entertainment display screen, DVD, and roof rail crossbars. For a family of four with two small kids, all of the updated entertainment technology is vital to keep the kids busy, especially when we are going on a particularly long car ride. The only negative aspect of the QX56 is the poor gas mileage that comes with such a large car. In optimal conditions I average 12mpg, though most of the time it is far less since the car is usually filled with camping equipment and kids! Though I understand that a vehicle as large as this requires a large amount of gas to run on, it often means leaving an arm and a leg at the pump
