I was born and raised a farm girl - not a big farm, mind you, but we had some horses, cows, pigs, and chickens. We also had trucks, namely Ford trucks. Once I left the country for the (not-too-big) city, I moved away from trucks to cars. But I tied the knot a couple of years ago and after a scary experience in the city, the hubby and I decided to get a place just outside of town. It was smaller than my farm growing up, but having four and a half acres meant we could move from a car family to a truck family. But not, as I'd wanted, a Ford truck family. My brother-in-law is a car salesman and not for a Ford dealership. He works for Isuzu, of all places. I was a little wary at first, especially since I didn't even know Isuzu sold trucks! However, after a test drive and a VERY sweet deal thanks to Steve, I can now say I'm the proud owner of a 2008 Isuzu I-370 (a gray one to be exact). We're not on what I'd call a farm by any means, so this truck is perfect for our needs. It has pretty solid towing capability, an extended cab for any guests who want to come visit, and handles going off road really well. The only downside is that we're the only ones among our friends who have a truck, so we've also become the people to call when someone is moving. It's not my favorite thing, but at least there's always a free meal involved!
