The 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport, in a way, starts new for 2001, as it carries a new name. It carries on with the Amigo model, which served as the original two-door SUV, but this version comes better equipped and uses an automatic transmission on all models. In effect, it provides the two-door version of the larger Isuzu Rodeo SUV. If you like the idea of the Isuzu Rodeo, but want something smaller you should definitely consider this vehicle.

For 2001, the Isuzu Rodeo Sport starts new, as this model formerly carried the name Amigo. The 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport version also features a four-speed automatic transmission, a hardtop and soft top option, and new colors, including Acid Gold Mica and Atlantic Blue Mica.
