A real beauty that drives like a dream

Reviewed by Automotive on

In a Nutshell
The 2011 Jaguar XJ is a super-luxury sport sedan that was completely redesigned, only carrying over the frame from its predecessors. Powered by either a 5.0-liter V-8 or a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Jaguar XJ has plenty of power bolstered by smooth driving and handling.

The Jaguar XJ offers programmable gauges, circular air vents, and other luxuries. The interior and exterior of the new XJ make it difficult to recognize when placed side by side with the previous model. The new XJ sports blacked out C-pillars that make you aware you are definitely looking at a new Jaguar. The XJ's safety features are superb, and the fuel economy is what you'd expect at 16 mpg city / 23 mpg highway.

The Jaguar XJ was completely redesigned for 2011. Sleek modern styling, much better handling, and powerful new 5.0-liter V-8 engine options are among the notable improvements.
