The
2010 Jaguar XK-Series is a luxury car available as a coupe or convertible in two trim levels: XK and XKR. Coming in rear-wheel drive, the base XK is propelled by a new 5.0-liter V-8 engine, while the XKR boasts a supercharged version of the same engine, both paired to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control.
The XK's luxury cabin and performance are exceptional, but with the XKR you can add features for superior performance, spectacular handling, and quick response. The convertible features fast drop-top operation. Fuel consumption ratings are disappointingly in the 16 mpg city / 24 mpg highway range.
New for 2010
For 2010, the Jaguar XK-series coupe and convertible receive significant changes, most importantly, new naturally aspirated and supercharged versions of the direct-injected 5.0-liter V-8 engine. In addition, a unique rotary-style gear selector is added to the XK. In terms of style, the Jaguar XK sports more aggressive exterior updates and more luxury upgrades in the interior. Finally, some formerly optional equipment becomes standard.

The Jaguar XK's interior boasts a slick electronic gear selector, a premium stereo, leather, and automatic climate control. However, Jaguar's touch screen infotainment system is still rather clunky.
Driving Performance
