The Kia Sportage is a great drive, we simply love it so much. This is a great vehicle for a smaller family like ourselves, who have only one child. Child safety seats fit in the back seat easily, and with plenty of room to spare. It is simply gorgeous to look at and we get many complements on just how sporty and nice it looks. It is a great choice if you are looking for a smaller sports utility vehicle. I'm not so sure how it would do off-road nor am I sure how well the towing capabilities are verses others on the market, but we have not needed the vehicle for those things yet. The interior is just as nice as the exterior, and everyone who rides with us really does seem comfortable no matter which seat in the vehicle they are sitting in. It has a ton of power and we feel like the great gas mileage makes it a great choice for those who want to reduce their dependency on petroleum. One thing I really wish the designers had thought of is a reclining and/or sliding backseat. I would like to be able to move the seat back farther so taller friends don't have to cram into the back, however the seat doesn't slide back nor does it recline in any way. This means the car seats fit great because there is no problem getting them in there; however our very tall friends seem to want a little more room!
