2013 Lamborghini Gallardo Review

Reviewed by Automotive on

Vehicle Overview

The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo returns for its tenth year of production. Unlike its big brother, the Aventador and its V-12 engine, the Gallardo "only" has 10 cylinders. This is good for 552 horsepower and 397 pound-feet of torque with power being distributed to either the rear (LP-550-2) or all four wheels. Two fewer cylinders than the flagship Aventador hasn't slowed down the Gallardo's sales, even with a price tag that starts at just below $192,000. In its first seven years of production, the Lamborghini Gallardo sold more than 10,000 units with its best year being 2006. The Gallardo stalemate comes in a few different flavors, including the Gallardo LP-5502, Gallardo LP560-4, Gallardo LP-550-2 Spyder, Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder, Gallardo LP 570-4 Supperleggera Edizione Tecnica, and the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante Edizione Tecnica.

New for 2013

Even though it's been on sale for a decade, the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo doesn't see much in the form of updates for the latest model year. The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 coupe and convertible does feature a tweaked front and rear end, as well as new 19-inch alloy wheels.
