The Land Rover LR2 is, by far, one of the best handling luxury SUVs I've ever driven. I was initially tempted by the attractive exterior - the way it subtly oozes 'Sport Utility' without sacrificing good design and aesthetic presentation. If Indiana Jones was set in 2012, I imagine this is the type of vehicle he'd drive around the jungles of Borneo or the Sahara Desert in search of ancient treasure! The interior, however, was what sold me on this awesome SUV - roomy and comfortable up front, with enough room in back for anything you'd like to pick up. The leather seating is sumptuous without being pretentious - a fine line for a luxury SUV to tread - but the LR2 pulls it off spectacularly. There are also a nice range of options and great safety features. My one gripe is the 3.2L i6 engine, while perfectly acceptable for everyday community and long drives, could use a little more "umph!". This is a very minor quibble though and I think the LR2 is a great investment for the price.
