Performance & Handling

The 2011 Land Rover LR4 gains recognition for its excellent offroad handling and performance. When coupled with its stylish exterior and interior comforts, it is hard to beat. Cargo space is ample; a maximum of 90 cubic feet of space results with a lowered third row seat.

When venturing offroad, the Terrain Response system lets the driver select the optimal suspension and powertrain settings depending road or offroad conditions that you encounter (mud, rocks, snow, sand, or pavement).

Offering a maximum towing capacity of 7,716 pounds, the 2011 Land Rover LR4 provides a great choice for people who want to tow a boat or RV for weekend getaways. Land Rover offers a complete line of towing equipment and accessories to satisfy your towing needs.

Use of the HDC (Hill Descent Control) button allows the vehicle to descend down difficult terrain in a controlled manner without having to use the brake or accelerator. HDC activates Gradient Release Control to provide smooth, gradual acceleration on steep inclines.

The model also offers Trailer Stability Assist, which automatically detects the presence of a trailer. Once the vehicle reaches 37 mph, the sensors continuously monitor the behavior of the trailer. If swaying occurs, selective braking on the appropriate wheels corrects any problems.
