In a Nutshell
The 2011 Lexus GS 350 is a midsize luxury sport sedan that delivers performance, comfort, and a plethora of upscale features. Sporting a 3.5-liter V-6 engine churning 303 horsepower attached to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, the GS 350 comes with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

You can count on the GS 350 to give you a comfortable ride and dependable handling, while making standard an abundance of safety features, as usual with the Lexus. The EPA estimates fuel economy at 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway.

New for 2011

Improvements in 2010 to the Lexus GS 350 carried over to 2011. Among the improvements are new wheel options, an updated grille, a voice command feature for the navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, and options from the F-Sport line, including wheels, brakes, intake, and suspension modifications. If the car isn't equipped with optional navigation, the rear view mirror includes a compass, while the navigation system has its own compass.

On the Outside

Displaying a classy and conservative design, the Lexus GS 350 is attractive without stopping traffic. With a 112.2-inch wheelbase, there are 17- and 18-inch wheels to choose from, and run-flat tires are can be added.

From the Inside

The Lexus GS 350 is graced with abundant standard luxury features, including 10-way power adjustable heated front seats, four colors of leather trim, three types of wood trims, 10-speaker audio, and cut pile carpeting. Optional are a navigation system and Mark Levinson audio.

Driving Performance

With relatively fast acceleration, the rear-wheel drive GS 350 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in around 5.7 seconds. Its comfortably smooth ride and easy handling make it a delight to drive.

Safety Equipment

Standard on the GS 350 are dual front airbags, dual front knee airbags, front side airbags, and front and rear side-curtain airbags. In addition, four-wheel discs and ABS with brake assist and electronic brake-force distribution and stability control are also standard.
