What can I say? The GS 460 carries the Lexus name and certainly lives up to it. When competing with the likes of the BMW 5 series and Mercedes E-class you certainly can't spare in the design. And this mid-sized sedan certainly does not. The 4.6 liter V-8 puts out 342 horsepower. So this car will get you where you want to go and do so quickly. However, it will also get you there in comfort and style as well. The cabin seats 5 people comfortably on cushioned leather seats. Heated seats has become the norm in luxury cars but the GS 460 also comes standard with ventilated seats, offering added comfort on warm days. The navigation system is also immensely helpful. Gone are the days of mapping out trips beforehand. Now, I just jump in the car and input my destination. The system also puts out great sounding music and radio from the 10-speaker sound system. As far as handling goes, the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system allows me to choose between normal driving conditions or "Sport" for a more tight and precise control. Along with the all wheel drive system, this car is ready for any type of driving condition. Basically, you know what you are getting when you buy a Lexus. A quality vehicle that will last (ie Toyota) and look great doing so. The reliability was a major factor in buying the Lexus and so far I have not needed to take it in except for routine oil changes.
