The 2011 Lexus HS 250h
is a luxury hybrid sedan with a novel design created by the car maker, instead of being retooled from other models, as is often the case. For example, it's equipped with a four cylinder engine made by the car maker. The 2.4 Liter, Atkinson cycle DOHC Inline-four is coupled with two electric motors to produce 187 horsepower from its Hybrid Synergy Drive system, which is coupled to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Combining luxury with practicality, the Lexus HS 250h has a very spacious cabin with superior amenities, such as a two-toned interior, remote touch controller, an outstanding navigation system, and an optional heads up display. Couple that luxury with state-of-the-art safety equipment and an EPA-rated fuel economy of 35 mpg city/34 mpg highway, and it becomes obvious the HS 250h delivers value.
New for 2011
Since the Lexus HS 250h was all new for 2010, no mechanical or interior changes were made for 2011. There were a few exterior color changes, however: Satin Cashmere Metallic replaced Golden Almond Metallic, Deep Sea Mica replaced Black Sapphire Pearl, and Aurora White Pearl has been discontinued.

From the Inside
Inside, plenty of technology features are evident in the Lexus HS 250h, such as iPod connectivity, Bluetooth, and an optional navigation system that is operated by a computer mouse-like Remote Touch controller. There are also an optional heads-up display, voice command system, and lots of monitoring gauges for the hybrid system.
The Lexus HS 250h goes 0-60 mph in 8.1 seconds and runs through the quarter mile in 16.2 seconds at 87.9 mph. The HS 250h is very quiet on the highway and handles well during turns, even though it is not a sport sedan
