The 2001 Lexus LX470 has been given an optional DVD-based navigation system and the optional Nakamichi audio system has been replaced by an optional Mark Levinson system with nine speakers. Meanwhile, its standard audio system has been improved by the addition of an Automatic Sound Levelizer (ASL). Wood and leather trim for the steering wheel and shift knob that was once optional and has been made standard.
