Interior

The 2005 Lexus RX330 comes with many interior features. A genuine wood trim comes on all doors, the center console, and the shifter island for a nice old-fashioned look. The RX330 comes with a 10-way power driver seat and an eight-way power front passenger seat, and includes seat-mounted armrests, a driver power lumbar-support system, and adjustable headrests. The rear seats are reclining and sliding 40/20/40-split, fold-down seats with adjustable headrests. The sliding center console includes an auxiliary power outlet, two cup holders, and an illuminated storage bin. The floors come with cut-pile carpeting, carpeted floor mats, and chrome scuff plates. The three-spoke, wood- and leather-trimmed tilt steering wheel has audio controls imbedded. The electroluminescent instrument cluster includes a seven-inch LCD screen to display ventilation, outside temperature, and trip computer. A vehicle theft-deterrent and immobilizer system is included, as are power windows, door locks, and a fuel-door release. The power windows have a one-touch auto up and down feature with pinch protection, while the door locks include an anti-lockout feature.

The RX330 comes with retained accessory power, a HomeLink universal transceiver, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents and an air filter, rear window defogger with an auto-off timer, electrochromic rearview mirror with a compass, pop-out cup holder located to the left of the steering wheel, overhead console with sunglasses holder, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors and slide extensions. There are also front-seat back pockets, two front and two rear assist grips, coat hooks, pull-out front door storage pockets, wood- and leather-trimmed shift knob and a rear cargo area with auto-retracting tonneau cover, three pop-up opening storage departments under the cargo-area floor, and an auxiliary power outlet. The eight-speaker audio system is a premium 132-watt sound system with an AM/FM/CD/Cassette player, a radio data system, and an in-glass and short pole antenna with an FM diversity system.

There is an optional multi-panel moonroof and leather-trimmed upholstery. The optional navigation system comes with Bluetooth, voice activation, improved graphics, and a rearview camera, which is useful for monitoring behind the vehicle when backing up. A dynamic cruise-control option, a rear-seat entertainment option and an in-dash six-disc CD changer option are available as well.
