In a Nutshell
The 2010 Lotus Exige is an exotic supercar ideal for Lotus fans seeking a coupe with a fixed roof configuration. Weighing only 2100 pounds, the Lotus Exige is equipped with a 1.8-liter supercharged I-4 engine generating 240 horsepower married to a six-speed manual transmission.

The Exige has the Versatile Vehicle Architecture consisting a roof made of composite materials, steel rear subframes, aluminum subframes, and an aluminum central tub. With a composite crash structure, the Exige has a light and rigid body that achieves high speeds easily. While the Exige is great for weekend drives, ingress and egress can make everyday driving a bit frustrating. A sporty, attractive car, the Exige also offers exceptional and very popular options.

New for 2010

For 2010, the Lotus Exige receives a few aerodynamic enhancements, including a slightly restyled front end, an enhanced low-drag rear wing, and a larger central air intake flanked by two additional intakes, as well as upgraded Ohlins dampers, which have been added to the optional Track Pack package.
