2013 Maserati GranTurismo Review
Reviewed by Automotive on
Vehicle OverviewThe 2013 Maserati GranTurismo can handle both spirited driving and helping to drive the point home that you're someone important when you pull up to the curb. Incredibly easy on the eyes, the 2013 Maserati GranTurismo's 4.7-liter V-8 engine, rated at 454 horsepower (the same as last year), steals the show when it lets out a thunderous rumble. This mill is mated to a single-clutch automated manual transmission, which makes its return for 2013. With a name like GranTurismo, you can bet that the 2013 Maserati GranTurismo is comfortable on long rides, and the seat are supportive too. Now, the 2013 Maserati GranTurismo will be available in two different model lines, the Sport and MC.
For the 2013 model year, the Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic has been renamed simply to the GranTurismo Sport. The 2013 Maserati GranTurismo Sport now takes some of its aggressive exterior styling cues from the up(per)-market model, the GranTurismo MC. The 4.7-liter V-8 engine squeezes out a little bit more power and the single-clutch automated manual transmission makes a return, as well. Brakes have also been upgrades for the latest model year. All of these additions culminate in a vehicle that is not only fun to drive but is comfortable on long rides, as well. A base price tag of $129,500 will also ensure you that your neighbors will have a tough time keeping up.
