The 2007 Maybach 62 base’s exterior is first known for its length, which translates to more room in the interior. It comes 78 inches wide, 62 inches tall, 242.7 inches long with 14.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity. It rides with 6.3 inches of ground clearance and rides on 150.7 inches wheel base that comes fitted on 20-inch alloy wheels.

The 2007 Maybach 62 comes in three body color options: white, metallic silver, and black. It's fitted with a remote-operated sun roof, a rear defogger, the passenger exterior mirror tilts to afford driver with better view in reverse gear, power and heated mirrors with signal indicators, and four doors on both trims.


The 2007 Maybach 62’s interior is luxurious and spacious with 38.8 inches of head room, 41.3 inches of leg room, and 62.2 inches of shoulder room in the front. The rear boasts 38.4 inches of head room, 57.2 inches of leg room, and 61.5 inches of shoulder room. The front comes with a heated passenger seat, the driver’s weight and height, and the passenger seat has a back massager.

The rear comes with fully reclining seats, a folding storage compartment in the center, and all the upholstery is made from high-quality leather with wood trim on the dash board, doors, and gear shift. The Maybach 62 comes with up to five memorization settings: rear view mirror, steering wheel, interior driving mirror, and climate.

Temperature and climate control is individualized according to the seat. The 2007 Maybach 62 also comes with a drink cooler, power windows, power door locks, and the vehicle also has remote window operation.

It comes with voice command navigation and mobile telephone system and is fitted with data and wireless communication connectivity. For entertainment, the 2007 Maybach 62 comes with a rear DVD player, AM/FM radio with multiple CD changer in the center console, and MP3 Auxiliary input with 21-speaker surround audio system.

Performance & Handling

The 2007 Maybach 62 is a four-door rear-drive with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission and a base 5.5-liter, V-12 engine that spews 543 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. A variable valve timing (VVT) and single overhead cam (SOHC) helps further propel the vehicle down the road. Meanwhile, the 2007 Maybach 62 S comes with a six-liter V-12 with 36 valves and has 604 hp, 738 lb-ft of torque, variable valve timing (VVT), and single overhead cam (SOHC).

Both trims come fitted with a stabilizer bar in the front and rear, independent four-wheel suspension, double wishbone suspension in the front, front and rear ventilated disc brakes, and multi-link suspension in the rear, which give the car ample stability.


The 2007 Maybach 62 comes fitted with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) on all four wheels, an emergency braking preparation and assist system, traction and stability control, electronic brake-force distribution, and brake drying. Additional safety features include a well-equipped post-impact safety system including front and rear airbags, side mounted airbags in the front and rear, adjustable and power driven headrests on all seats to protect occupants from whiplash in the event of an impact. User safety is taken care of with the anti-theft alarm system, and the engine immobilizer systems. It comes with child seat anchors in the rear, and the rear doors are fitted with child safety locks.
