Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this

  • Comfortable
  • Smooth Ride
  • Attractive Design

  • Lacks Power
  • Horrible voice command
  • Many small flaws

My Mercedes-Benz M-Class purchase seemed like a great idea at the time. After a few months some of the shortcomings started to become more apparent. I still own the car, but I am considering trading it in for something more to my liking. First off, the things I really liked and still like about this SUV. First and foremost, it looks great. I've always loved the look of a Mercedes-Benz and this brought everything I hoped it would over to the SUV class. If it were completely up to me, I'd have gotten a sportier car. But, the realities of my family meant that I needed to get an SUV. Thankfully, it has more that enough room for my family of four to travel in comfort, even on long road trips. Now on to the things I didn't realize at first but eventually came to annoy me about this car. First, the car's power definitely seems to be lacking at times. It kind of makes me wish I had opted for the V8 engine. But, then that come with problems of decreased fuel efficiency. Also, although it isn't a critical feature, I was very excited about the voice commands. After trying them out for a while I found the recognition to be so poor that it was far too frustrating to use at all and I turned it off. I'm a big technology guy and it made me really sad that my smartphone can do a much better job than this car of understanding me. This and a few other minor annoyances have started to pile up making me question my purchase.
