The Mercury Milan is a stylish mid-sized sedan, built on the Ford Fusion platform. Its design is unchanged for 2008.
Trims are Base, and Premier. A notable standard feature on all Milans is the tilt-telescoping steering wheel with audio and cruise controls. An innovative option for 2008 is SYNC, a voice-activated, hands-free music, phone and navigation center.
Engine options are a 160 horsepower 2.3 liter inline-4 and a 221 horsepower 3.0 liter V6. Transmission options for the 4-cylinder are a 5-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual. All V6's get a 6-speed automatic. Front wheel drive is standard on all models, while all wheel drive with traction control is available on V6 models.
Mileage ranges from 18 miles per gallon with the V6, to 29 miles per gallon with the 4-cylinder.
