Ford is a company in the automotive industry that was first founded in June of 1903 by Henry Ford. A company that began with as little as 28 thousand dollars in 1903, now generates an income that is easily in the billions. The company has proven so successful that they have been identified as one of the major three automobile manufacturers in the world today. Famous Fords include the Model A, the Model T, and the Ford Thunderbird. Today, Ford continues to manufacture both cars and trucks. Recently, Ford has added several hybrids to the list as the company looks for ways to manufacture vehicles that offer safer environmental alternatives.
