Jeep Wrangler Information
The Jeep Wrangler JT was first manufactured in 1997 and was made to replace the Jeep Wrangler YJ. Upgrades included in the JT were numerous: coil spring suspension, round headlights, a bigger fuel capacity, child seat anchorages, newer stereos and sound devices. A different dashboard, steering wheel, and console were added when the YJ made the shift to the TJ. The Wrangler comes with door options: the Wrangler is manufactured with full or half frame doors. Doors are removable and, if full framed, have power locks and windows. Optional body mounted rearview mirrors are also available for those Jeep owners who prefer to ride with the doors removed. A folding windshield is installed on today's Wrangler ' (a standard on the Wrangler and the Wrangler Unlimited), allowing for even more open air adventurous riding. The roof tops are made of soft material (sailcloth fabric) or the optional hard top roof is available.
