Land Rover LR3 Information
The Land Rover LR3 is a luxury version introduced in 2006 to replace the Discovery Sport Utility Vehicle. Equipped with a fully independent adjustable air suspension, the off-road abilities of the LR3 are enhanced with Terrain Response' system and a locking differential. Its innovative on-board systems have gained the LR3, known as Discovery 3 outside of North America, the 2005 'Sport/Utility of the Year' title from Motor Trend magazine, as well as an award from Popular Science magazine. Under the hood of the LR3 is a 216 horsepower 4.0L V6 engine or 300 horsepower 4.4L V8 engine on SE trim, or a V8 engine in a first-rate HSE trim. The powerful V8 vehicles can accommodate a third row of passengers, or haul more cargo in the space created by folding down the second- and third-row seats. Although the Land Rover LR3 is sufficiently tough to handle off-road areas, it also offers a comfortable ride on leather seats with a Harman Kardon stereo and natural light filtering through the sunroof.
