The Maserati Quattroporte has been available since 1963 when Maserati first manufactured the vehicle. The name Quattroporte is Italian and translates as 'four doors'. The Maserati Quattroporte is a vehicle that has a defined and aggressive vehicle body and it establishes an impressive presence on the road. Sleek and fast, the Quattroporte is capable of going from zero to sixty in less than six seconds. Now in its fifth generation of production, the Quattroporte houses a 4.2 Liter, V-8, 32 valve DOHC SMPI engine capable of generating 400 horsepower. The 2007 Quattroporte is a luxury sedan available in the Automatic DuoSelect versions. While differing in terms of the transmission offered, both the Automatic Quattroporte and the DuoSelect Quattroporte house the same motor. Each model is further broken down into two different trim levels: the Executive GT and the Sport GT. As with all Maserati cars, the Quattroporte sports the famous Maserati Trident logo.
