By | January 30, 2014
For the new model year, Hyundai builds on the success of the Genesis Coupe, adding new features and technology for a product that can hold its own in the increasingly competitive sport coupe segment. The new Genesis Coupe features new aggressive styling to match the driving dynamics and performance. Hyundai, in an effort to prove the performance of the Genesis Coupe, has added engine RPM downshift rev-matching with an eight-speed automatic transmission, carbon-coated synchronizer rings to the manual transmission, and an engine intake sound induction pipe on the 2.0-liter Turbo models. Other new features include standard foglights, cruise control, and heated mirrors as well as enhanced navigation, Hyundai Assurance Connected Care, and much more. The 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is powered by either a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine or a 3.8-liter V-6 engine, which produce 274 and 348 horsepower, respectively. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, or the standard six-speed manual transmission.
Inside the new model, Hyundai has included upscale features such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and parking brake lever, a stitched-seam appearance on the instrument panel, electroluminescent gauge cluster, more interior storage, and sport front seats with deep side bolsters. Customers can choose from different packages, color schemes and additional features to further customize their new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Source: Hyundai
