The 2014 Mini Cooper Hardtop, now in its third generation, features new engines, an upgraded interior, and enhanced connectivity. The base Cooper will start at $19,950, while the Cooper S will come in at $23,600 before the $795 destination charge. The Mini Hardtop represents the core volume model for the brand, and with the added features, is sure to continue with that trend. The new Mini is powered by either a three- or four-cylinder engine, and offers new comfort and safety technology to increase its competitiveness in the premium compact car segment. "The product team worked diligently to sustain a minimal price increase over the previous model while adding an number of new technologies and features," said Patrick McKenna, Head of Mini Product Planning and Events, Mini USA, in a recent statement. Mini has also added driver assist features and upgraded technology and connectivity to the new model. Although the 2014 Mini Cooper Hardtop won't be on sale until the spring, customers can start building and customizing their new Mini. The configurator, which is now live, offers more than 10 million combinations of accessories and colors for customers to make their new cars as unique as they are.
