2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition is a Special Edition Made in Redneck Heaven
Does your duck dynasty need a new family hauler? Do you regularly shop at Walmart and wear camouflage outside of hunting season? And is your idea of classy beer Miller Highlife, the champagne of beers? If you answered "yes" to any one of those questions, have we got the truck for you: the 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition. Based on the 2014 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman--a truck we think is pretty nifty--the Mossy Oak Edition is adorned in, erm, "Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity" vinyl graphics. They run all down each side of the truck, letting onlookers know just how classy you are. After all, you just spent at least $41,180, including $1,195 for destination and handling, on a vehicle that would be at home as the official truck of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. But there are two saving graces to the 2014 Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition. First, it's based on the Ram 1500, which is a lovely truck that can be had with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, or a dandy of a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine. All of them come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission; four-wheel drive is standard. The second is that its Canyon Brown and Frost Beige Katzkin leather interior, which looks positively sumptuous. Both 5-foot-7- and 6-foot-4-inch beds are available in addition to Rambox. Ram says 30 percent of its truck buyers hunt, 44 percent fish, 27 percent are boaters, and 42 percent are campers. We imagine that the customer who buys the Mossy Oak Edition probably also commonly wears jeans and bandannas at formal functions. If this truck is your thing, drive it proudly. It arrives in showrooms in early 2014. Source: Ram
