2015 Nissan GT-R Priced, Starts at $101,770
The new 2015 Nissan GT-R made its debut a few short months ago at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, and the automaker recently announced the official pricing. Starting at $101,770 before the $1,595 destination charge, the new model has received a number of performance and styling enhancements for the new model year. Thanks to these upgrades, this performance car, which we affectionately refer to as Godzilla, offers a more refined ride without losing any of its performance. For 2015, the Nissan GT-R boasts a recalibrated suspension for better handling, an enhance exterior appearance with LED headlights, a carbon fiber trunk lid on the Track models, a premium interior with a quieter cabin thanks to the now standard Bose Active Noise Cancellation system, and a carbon-style instrument cluster. The new GT-R Premium and Black Edition models are currently on sale, while the Track Edition and NISMO will follow later this year. The Nissan GT-R Premium, Black Edition, and Track Edition models will still be powered by the 3.8-liter twin turbo V-6 engine that produces 545 horses and 463 pound-feet of torque. The engine will be paired with the sequential six-speed dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters, allowing the driver to be in control of shifting. The new model has been priced $2,180 higher than the outgoing model, and while it may start just over $100,000, the price ranges up to $115,710 for the Track Edition, before destination and handling. We can expect the NISMO model to come in at a slightly higher price than the Track Edition, but only time will tell. Source: Nissan
