BMW Upgrades 2014 Z4 and X1 with Interior and Color Changes
Along with plenty of new models debuting at the Detroit Auto Show, such as the 2015 BMW 2 Series and M3/M4, BMW is upgrading some of its bread-and-butter models to better compete with the surge of new products that are quickly infiltrating the U.S. market. Audi Q3--previewed by its Detroit-bound concept--in the same space. Materials upgrades and added technology will surely benefit the little crossover. Additionally, BMW is upgrading the 2015 BMW Z4 roadster with a special package called Ivory White Burnt Sienna. Featuring white Nappa leather, upgraded interior materials, and brown stitching, the BMW Z4 Ivory White Burnt Sienna brings BMW Individual-style customization packages to the masses--just as we reported after last year's Detroit Auto Show--without the pretentious and time-consuming customization process. Also available with the Z4 Ivory White Burnt Sienna is special Sparkling Brown Metallic paint, which can only be had in the U.S. on the special-edition Z4. The color brown has been making quite a comeback in popularity, especially with German cars, and we're excited to see its chocolately good looks smothered upon BMW's classic roadster. Look for both models to hit showrooms towards the middle of 2014. Source: BMW
