2015 Kia K900 V-8 Luxury Sedan Priced
When we first heard that Kia would build an opulent luxury sedan for the U.S., we were skeptical on the value it would offer buyers. Now Kia has released pricing information to give us a clearer look at the picture. Based on its price, the K900 is the most expensive model Kia has ever launched in North America. The 2015 Kia K900 V-8 model will start at $60,400 including destination charges, Kia reported. This money will get buyers a 420-horsepower 5.0-liter GDI V-8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The K900 undercuts a similarly-powered Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan and BMW 5 Series by a few thousand dollars. Some key features on the 2015 Kia K900 include genuine wood, a 17-speaker sound system, and heated front and rear seats. According to the new information, buyers can also opt for a $6,000 VIP package, which adds a head-up display, 16-way adjustable driver seat, 12.3-inch full LCD TFT instrument cluster, surround view parking, and advanced safety technologies. Pricing information has not yet been released for the V-6-powered K900. Meanwhile, the government has already released full fuel economy information for the Kia K900. Unsurprisingly, the V-6 version achieves considerably better fuel economy than its more powerful brother. Source: Kia
