2015 Range Rover Evoque Adds More Powerful Autobiography Dynamic Model

By | February 18, 2014
Range Rover is debuting a more powerful Evoque crossover next month in Geneva with the introduction of the Autobiography Dynamic trim level. Borrowing the Autobiography name from other Range Rover SUVs, the new Evoque will feature a number of enhancements that will make it the "most-performance focused Evoque" in the lineup, according to the automaker. The Evoque Autobiography Dynamic receives the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, but power is up to 285 horses, or 45 ponies more than the traditional Evoque. The crossover features a new, more responsive nine-speed ZF transmission as well as an upgraded suspension for more agility and better performance. On the new Evoque, Range Rover is also debuting the world's first Land Rover InControl Apps, which drivers can download onto their smartphones. The app looks and can be operated in the same way whether used on the phone or on the car's touchscreen, bringing the familiarity of iPhone or Android to drivers. This new App system will debut across the Evoque lineup. The new Evoque will also feature some noticeable cosmetic changes. A new grille design, jewel-like headlights, and new wheels adorn the specially-equipped model. A new phoenix orange color will debut across the Dynamic Evoque range. Buyers can also choose between six color options for the standard leather interior. Special Autobiography badges can be seen on the headrests and tread plates. We love the sound of this model. But unfortunately, there is no word on whether or not this new trim level will make it to the U.S. We will keep our fingers crossed. Source: Range Rover
