2014 Hyundai Veloster Re:Flex Debuts at Chicago Auto Show
Building upon the success of the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Re:Mix, Hyundai debuted the new 2014 Veloster Re:Flex at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. The new model will hit showroom floors early this spring, and will have a limited run of only 3,000 units. The new Veloster will be powered by the Gamma 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed Ecoshift dual-clutch transmission. The Veloster Re:Flex will be available in an exclusive Ice Pearl exterior color, and is also available in Century White, Vitamin C, Ultra Black, and Boston Red. New features include projector headlights with LED accents and taillights, illuminated door sills, chrome hood accents, and Re:Flex badging on the exterior and floor mats. Inside you will find black or red full leather seating, piano black interior accents, a Dimension premium audio system with a subwoofer, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and alloy pedals. A rearview camera now comes standard on all 2014 Hyundai Veloster models. Scott Margason, director, product planning for Hyundai, said in a statement that "Veloster customers desire limited-edition models with even sportier styling, unique features and exclusive colors that allow them to stand out from the crowd and that is exactly what Re:Flex Edition delivers."
