Head 2 Head: Nissan GT-R vs Camaro Z/28
On the latest episode of Motor Trend's Head 2 Head, Johnny Lieberman takes the Camaro Z/28 and Godzilla to Alabama to see which one is the better driver's car. The Nissan GT-R is known for blowing away its competition, but the Camaro Z/28 has set some impressive records of its own. Which one will come out on top? The 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition features a 545-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 paired with a speed dual clutch transmission with AWD, while the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 gets its power from the 505-horsepower 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission with RWD. "What a beast of a car this thing is," Lieberman said when driving the Z/28. Although he barely had anything to bad to say about the latest Camaro,it is going up against Godzilla. The Nissan GT-R has long been the standout, but the Z/28 may pull out a few tricks to even up the playing field. Both cars were taken through back roads, drag strips, race tracks, and put through the standard battery of tests. Check out the video below to see which sports car managed to pull ahead. We know what our choice would be. Source: Motor Trend via YouTube
