Spied! 2015 BMW 3 Series Gets Light Refresh
The 2015 BMW 3 Series is getting a light touch from the design wand to make it more competitive against the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. While Mercedes has fully evolved the C inside and out for its latest generation, BMW is touching up the 3 Series, and new shots from our spy photographers give us an idea of what we can expect. The 2015 BMW 3 Series is undergoing what the Bavarian automaker is calling a Life Cycle Impulse (LCI), and we can see it in a new front bumper--covered in camouflage--new air intakes, and revised headlights that will likely offer a full LED option. Abroad, the 3 Series should receive new, smaller engines featured in the 2 Series and Mini Cooper, but the U.S. will see turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engines for its bread and butter model. And while design changes are slight, the 3 Series will still be a driver's car we're looking forward to piloting.
