2015 Jaguar XK Final Fifty Edition Marks End of Model
Say goodbye to the Jaguar XK, which ends its production run after the 2015 model year. To close off the model on a good note, Jaguar will introduce the special-edition Final Fifty XK. Reaching dealerships early this fall, the Jaguar XK Final Fifty Edition will feature a number of performance and design extras. It will be equipped with the Dynamic Pack and Performance Pack, which are normally options on the XKR. As a result, the special XK models receive a larger rear wing, special side sills, and a rear diffuser that enhances aerodynamics. Top speed has been increased from 155 to 174 mph. Additionally, new suspension components promise better handling. Powering the new Jaguar XK Final Fifty is a XKR engine. This 5.0-liter V-8 produces a whopping 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. Expect a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. The Jaguar XK Final Fifty will also feature Ultimate Black paint as well as special badging on the interior. The steering wheel is made with suedecloth. Performance seats with diamond stitching complete the sporty look. As the name suggests, only 50 units will be made. Twenty five will consist of coupes and the other 25 will be convertibles. Standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, Park Assist, heated front seats, keyless entry and ignition, and more. Source: Jaguar
