Ford Mustang Looks to Set Record for Most Birthday Card Signatures

By | April 14, 2014
The iconic Ford Mustang turns 50 this week, and in honor of the special occasion, Ford is asking fans to help it set a world record. Ford needs 50,000 signatures to reach its goal of gathering the most contributions to an electronic card ever. Mustang fans are encouraged to sign the electronic card, leave a message, and share the link on social media. "The spirit of Mustang infuses everything we do at Ford,” said Steve Ling, car marketing manager for Ford, in a recent statement. “Mustang inspires a feeling of freedom and independence for drivers and fans, and it helps to inspire everyone at Ford to create the best products we can for all of our customers in every segment.”
Ford is also celebrating the birthday with a reveal of the all-new 2015 Mustang Convertible on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building during the 2014 New York Auto Show. On top of that, Ford is for the first time bringing the Mustang to China, the world's largest auto market. Over the decades, more than 9 million Mustangs have been sold, and this will only increase as the Mustang looks to new markets around the world. Source: Ford
