Supercar Sunday: 1992 Porsche 911 Turbo

By | April 13, 2014
Fan of the 1992 Porsche 911 turbo? So are we. For this week's Supercar Sunday, we've brought you not one, but two awesome videos to check out. First up is from Automobile Magazine. The latest "CarPorn" episode features the 1992 911 Turbo driving on a closed track and some still shots. The music is a little hokey, but hey, that's the industry for you. One thing we're left wanting for in this video is a chance to really see the car let loose and hear that engine. And that's why we bring you Video #2.
Also from Automobile, this episode of "Driven" features the same 1992 Porsche 911 Turbo from the "CarPorn" episode, but we get a little more out of the video. The 911 Turbo is one of the most iconic and fearsome vehicles in Porsche's lineup and has been since its introduction back in the 1970s. Right now, the current 911 Turbo is in its sixth generation and keeps with the tradition of the model. According to Automobile Magazine contributing writer Preston Lerner, the second-gen, air-cooled, rear-wheel drive 1992 911 Turbo is the best, even over today's model. Do you agree?
