2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe Pricing Announced
The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe starts at $38,990, about $5,000 more than the current sedan version. On sale by the end of this summer, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe features significant changes from its four-door counterpart. It rides on the same wheebase, but it is longer, lower, and wider than the sedan. Its overall height is more than 1 inch lower, providing for a sporty drive and reduced body roll. Meanwhile, its 0.8-inch wider track helps improve steering and its longer overall length gives it a distinct coupe look. The ATS Coupe also receives unique design elements. It has its own front face, roof, doors, rear renders, and trunk lid that are distinct from the sedan. “All of the surface development unique to the ATS Coupe was done with aerodynamics in mind,” said David Masch, chief engineer for the ATS. “We are able to achieve lift and downforce requirements to insure, at top speed, we retain handling without having to add a rear spoiler.” The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe will be available with the choice of two engines, either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.6-liter six-cylinder. Buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Check out the gallery below for more images. Source: General Motors
