2015 Cadillac CTS-V Special Edition Coupe Arriving Soon
As Cadillac prepares for the next-generation of the V-Series set to debut next year, a special-edition of the 2015 CTS-V Coupe is on its way. Limited to only 500 units, this model will be available during the second half of 2014. Powered by a 556-horsepower supercharged V-8 engine, the special Edition CTS-V Coupe utilizes the same high-performance technology found in its predecessors, including Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo brakes. "The V-Series continues to elevate Cadillac, providing an exclusive family of high-performance luxury models that attract a new audience of elite and passionate buyers," said Uwe Ellinghaus, Cadillac chief marketing officer, in a statement. "The special edition is a stepping stone to the next-generation V-Series, which will move to the next level with more dynamic design and technical sophistication." Expect the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe special edition to feature an exclusive ebony interior with red contrast stitching, along with Recaro seats, a Midnight Sapele wood trim, a microfiber suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a dark-finish V grille, and more. Cadillac has priced the newest model at $72,195, which includes the $995 destination charge and a $1,300 gas guzzler tax. Optional features include a sunroof priced at $700 and Black Diamond exterior paint at $995, but other exterior colors like Crystal White and Phantom Gray come without an additional charge.
