2015 GMC Acadia, Terrain Add Features and Packages

The 2015 model year will be giving us a wide array of new vehicles and packages, and GMC is not one to be outdone. For the new model year, two of its top vehicles will receive new standard and optional features, as well as new packages to make them more competitive in their respective segments.
Taking a closer look at the new 2015 GMC Acadia, the automaker has added not only three new exterior colors--Crimson Red Tintcoat, Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic, and Midnight Amethyst Metallic--but a 20-inch aluminum wheel design and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel that comes standard on the SLT-2 and Denali models.
Featuring a sculpted exterior design, the GMC Acadia boasts style and function. Outfitted with a three-bar grille and standard diffused LED running lamps, the design is also highlighted by chrome accents. New standard and available features include a standard power liftgate on all models excluding the SLE-1, standard chrome door handles, and outside heated power-adjusted and folding mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming that comes standard on the SLT-2 and Denali models.
Inside the Acadia, you'll find upgraded materials and a roomy cabin. Three-row seating is available on every model, letting the customer decide how to configure the seating. With GM's exclusive Smart Slide, which comes standard on all models, customers can easily gain access to the third row. Added to the 2015 Acadia are standard keyless entry, remote start standard on all models excluding the SLE-1, standard leather-appointed seating on SLT models, two-panel sunroof standard on Denali models and available on all but SLE-1 models, and a center console with sliding armrest and storage across the lineup.
Like the new Acadia, the 2015 GMC Terrain boasts new features including greater connectivity with 4G LTE and a standard built-in WiFi hotspot. Much of what is new on the Acadia makes its way to the Terrain, like the same exterior and interior features and options. However, the Terrain takes it one step further.
Focusing mainly on connectivity, GMC has added new IntelliLink features to the Terrain, including Nuance-powered hands-free voice control, Pandora Internet radio and Stitcher SmartRadio, Gracenote, and USB connectivity. SiriusXM satellite radio comes standard on all models. Along with the updated connectivity, GMC has upped the safety features to include a standard rear-vision camera, standard forward collision alert and lane departure warning on SLT-2 and Denali models, and standard side blind zone alert and rear cross traffic alert on the Denali model.
