2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI on Sale Now
The 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI improves on the outgoing model in terms of fuel efficiency, power, size, and safety, and now, customers can get their hands on the new model at dealerships across the nation. We recently had a chance to get behind the wheel of the all-new model, and found that the 2015 VW Golf GTI "represents the seventh generation of the automaker's hot hatch, and builds on 31 years of experience in the model's largest market…GTI enthusiasts and those new to the model will delight in the combination of utility, performance and value." To celebrate the new model, Volkswagen will be giving away a free GoPro camera to customers who buy or lease a new GTI by June 30, 2014. As far as incentives go, that's pretty cool. Powered by the EA888 2.0-liter turbocharged and direct-injection TSI engine with 210 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2015 VW Golf GTI will be offered with a base price of $24,395. Standard features include selectable driving modes, VW Car-Net connected services, touchscreen infotainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient LED lighting, and LED foglights. Mark Barnes, vice president of sales for Volkswagen of America, said in a recent statement, "The seventh-generation Golf GTI has been one of the most-highly anticipated new models of the year, and we're excited about the response we're getting from customers as it arrives in dealerships."
