BMW M2 May Arrive In Late 2015 Or Early 2016
The new BMW 2 Series has been on the market for a while, and not much has been heard about the M variant of the new model. We know it's only a matter of time before it's announced. According to 2Addicts.com, The BMW M2 may arrive in the U.S. as soon as late 2015 or early 2016. They've based this announcement off apparently reputable inside sources of the company, and we hope what they say is true. Their sources have said that the newest M model will enter production next year, marking the first set of deliveries for the tail end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016. It is speculated that the M2 will be powered by the N55 turbo inline six-cylinder engine and will produce between 365 and 375 horsepower. However, the automaker had reportedly also considered powering the M2 with the S48 engine, a potential four-cylinder turbo, but it was later dropped as an option. While not much is known about the new model, its codename will be the pyrat2, similar to the M1's pyrat codename. Also, it's model code will be F87. We'll let you know more information about the latest M model as it comes in. Source: 2addicts.com
