Ford to Raffle Off One-of-a-Kind 2015 Mustang Convertible
To help support and raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ford will be raffling off a one-of-a-kind 2015 Mustang GT convertible, equipped with select content from the 50 Year Limited Edition model. Raj Nair, Ford group vice president of global product development, said in a statement, "As pleased as we are to be able to help financially with the Society's No Opportunity Wasted research project, we also feel it's important to help raise greater awareness of this terrific program. That we're creating one--and only one--Mustang GT 50 Years convertible for the Society shows how much we respect and support their efforts." The unique model will be built alongside the regular production 2015 Mustang GT convertibles this fall, and will be powered by the 420-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 with a six-speed manual transmission. The special performance pack that will be added to the raffle model will include 19-inch Pirelli P-Zero summer tires, Brembo six-piston painted front brake calipers, and a limited-slip differential. The winning raffle ticket will be announced on August 16 during the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Mustang Alley in Ferndale, Mich. Tickets are currently on sale and cost $20 a piece. While the winner doesn't have to be present at the event, they will be responsible for title, taxes, and registration. Source: Ford
