How a Pink Escalade Made a Perfect Mother's Day Gift

By | May 07, 2014
Just in time for Mother's Day, General Motors joined NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to award his mom a pink Cadillac Escalade. Bridgewater officially entered pro football this week, but before he started, he wanted to make sure to fulfill a longtime promise to his mom, Rose Murphy, who is a breast cancer survivor. "When I was in third grade, I promised my mom I would get her a pink Cadillac Escalade,” Bridgewater said. “Pink is the color that represents breast cancer awareness, so I just want to get her that big pink Escalade truck and see that big smile on her face.” Murphy, a mother of four, received an Escalade with a custom pink paint selected by her son. The complete story of how Bridgewater awarded the Escalade to his mother can be seen in a new short film by famed director Spike Lee.
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is on sale now at dealerships nationwide. This refreshed SUV now has a more powerful engine, a smoother ride, and an all-new design for the new model year. And no, pink is not an available color. Escalade buyers can choose between various shades of white, red, grey, and black at the dealership. Source: GM
