As Mitsubishi's lineup in the U.S. slowly shrinks, its existing models will receive updates for the new model year. The 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer will offer an array of new standard and optional features, as well a next-gen CVT transmission. Powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual or CVT transmission, the base Lancer produces 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. Step up to the Lancer SE and you gain standard all-wheel control four-wheel drive and a bump in horsepower. Also be on the lookout for the Lancer Evolution, which will be powered by a 237-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged and intercooled MIVEC engine paired with a six-speed Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission. The 2015 Lancer also features a new Value Package that includes new 16-inch alloy wheel, FUSE Hands-Free Link with USB ports, color multi-information display, chrome interior door handles, a soft-touch upper door trim, and for the ES model, rear disk brakes.
Standard features now include a six-speaker audio system, fog lights, Sport front fascia with color-keyed center bumper on the SE model, and more. The GT model now offers white contrast seat and door stitching, along with a new Sun and Sound Package with a power glass sunroof, an upgraded sound system, and HID headlights. Source: Mitsubishi
