Chevrolet Shows off Next-Gen Cruze Interior
With the next-generation 2016 Chevrolet Cruze currently spied testing, it was only a matter of time before we were given some information about the new model direct from the source. Earlier this week, Chevrolet showed off interior photos of the Chinese-spec Cruze, and we expect it to be very similar to the one offered here in the U.S. Revealed back in April at Auto China 2014, the new Chevrolet Cruze offers an innovative interior that has been conceived with Chevy's "Power of Ingenuity • Youth" in mind. This model will be the first to show off the next generation of the automaker's design language, featuring not only global design cues, but also a "dynamic, sophisticated, efficient, and innovative" design philosophy. Sitting behind the wheel, you'll notice a dual-cockpit design that draws inspiration from the classic Corvette and Camaro models, with a streamlined style and a three-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel. Interior space has been expanded thanks to a roof that extends backwards, a more forward cowl point, and wheels that extend outward. A downsized engine further adds to available cabin space. The interior itself is wrapped in a saddle brown leather to give an added sense of luxury, including the front dash, door panels, and seats. Not to be outdone, Chevrolet has also made sure customers can stay connected with the use of the eight-inch touchscreen with built-in apps, Chevrolet MyLink, and Bluetooth. Source: Chevrolet
