2015 Acura TLX Gets Special Introductory Pricing
After a slight delay, Acura is finally bringing its TLX midsize sedan to the market at special introductory prices. Those who pre-order a TLX by September 2 can take advantage of special lease offers starting at $299 a month with $2,499 down for the four-cylinder model. The payment jumps to $349 a month for the six-cylinder. Instead of this offer, customers can also opt for APR financing of 1.9 percent for 24-36 months or 2.9 percent for 37-60 months. Also part of this offer, buyers of new TLX vehicles will receive $500 from Acura to purchase accessories on their new car. The 2015 Acura TLX comes with a MSRP of $30,995, making it more affordable than the Lexus IS and Audi A4. Unlike its predecessor, the outdated TL, the 2015 Acura TLX comes with two engine choices. The first is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 206 horsepower paired with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission. This model has all-wheel steer, which adds steering capability to the rear wheels for better handling. A more powerful 3.5-liter V-6 model pumps out 290 horsepower and is paired with an advanced nine-speed automatic. Along with all-wheel steer, the model will soon be available with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive that provides greater torque-vectoring for improved cornering. Fuel economy tops out at 24/35 for the four-cylinder and 21/34 for the V-6. Standard features on all 2015 Acura TLX models include Jewel Eye LED headlights, Smart Entry with push button ignition, rearview camera, Hill Start Assist, Siri Eyes Free, and more. Options include anti-collision braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and features available in the Technology Package and Advanced Package. The model officially arrives for sale in dealerships this August. Source: Acura
