2015 Toyota Prius Shows off New Persona
That's right. Toyota has created a special edition of its best-selling hybrid. And while we thought there would be more significant styling changes, there's just enough here to separate it from the rest of the Prius family. For the 2015 model year, Toyota will be offering the Prius Persona Series Special Edition that is set to hit dealers in September. Built off the Prius Three, the special edition will feature 17-inch alloy wheels in a dark metallic finish, heated mirrors with turn signal indicators, "Persona Series" exterior badging, as well as two unique exterior colors Blizzard Pearl and Absolutely Red. This marks the first time Absolutely Red will be offered on a Prius model. Inside, the cabin will feature a black SofTex trim with gray contrast stitching. The steering wheel will also feature the SofTex trim, along with a dark chrome bezel to match the shift knob and door grips. Upping the level of perceived luxury, Toyota has also added blue foot illumination to the front driver and passenger seats. If this is the Prius you've been dreaming of, it can be yours for $27,810, but if you can't live without that Blizzard Pearl exterior color, be prepared to tack on another $395. Source: Toyota
