2015 Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon Priced
The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado small pickup will start at $20,995, including a destination fee, while its GMC Canyon twin will go for $21,880. Both models arrive in dealerships this fall. Standard features on the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado include power windows, rearview camera, and a locking tailgate. Available features include a 4G LTE with built-in WiFi, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and a storage device for sports equipment. We estimate that a major seller will be the Colorado LT crew cab models with two-wheel-drive and the smaller five-foot box, which has a starting price of $27,985. The upper-trim Colorado Z71 crew cab 4X4 starts at $34,990 with the five-foot box. GMC buyers will receive a few extras. Additional standard features on this model include LED lighting, four-way power driver seat, CornerStep rear bumper, and 16-inch aluminum wheels. Options include a Bose premium seven-speaker sound system as well as other options that are also available on the Colorado. SLE extended cab models start at $27,520 with two-wheel drive. Upper trims come with aluminum trim, EZ lift tailgate, eight-inch touchscreen, and more. Those wanting leather-appointed seats, auto climate control, remote start, and an automatic locking rear differential can opt for the SLT crew cab, which starts at $37,875.The Colorado and Canyon will each come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 200 horsepower. An optional 3.6-liter V-6 engine worth 305 horsepower is also available. A six-speed automatic transmission is available as an option over the standard six-speed manual transmission.
