Dodge Announces New Dart Ad Campaign

By | August 05, 2014
To celebrate the launch of the new Dodge Dart, the automaker has teamed up with comedians and actors Craig Robinson and Jake Johnson to create a new ad campaign that will launch this week. The new campaign will be called "Don’t Touch My Dart," and will feature nearly two dozen broadcast and digital spots. The new commercial campaign will follow two neighbors, one who has just purchased the new Dart, and one who envies his neighbor. "For the youthful mindset that is our Dart target, we will share fun and engaging stories about a highly protective Dart owner and the untouchable status of his prized possession, his beautiful new Dart," said Olivier Francois, chief marketing officer for Chrysler Group, LLC. The first spot is a 30 second commercial entitled "Garage Door -- Mmmm," followed by "First Scratch -- Too Precious," and "Voice Touching." They will make their first appearances on CBS' "Mike and Molly" and "Under the Dome," followed by "NY Med" and "America's Got Talent." Head over to DontTouchMyDart.com later this month to see the campaign evolve into an interactive campaign where you can find out what will happen if you touch Craig Robinson's new Dodge Dart. The ads will also feature original music from Robinson. Check out the first ad, and stay tuned for the rest of the series to see how this short commercial series ends. Source: Chrysler
