Kia Teases Sorento Interior Before Debut
Last week, Kia released a teaser video about the design of the all-new Kia Sorento ahead of its intended debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Now, the automaker is showing off glimpses of the new vehicle's interior. For the next-generation model, Kia will supposedly dramatically improve the quality of the interior and add a sense of luxury to the SUV. From the sketches, we can see that it will feature a wraparound dashboard, and Kia stated in a recent statement that it will also offer "high quality soft-touch materials and a range of advanced on-board technologies." The interior design of the new Kia Sorento was developed by the Frankfurt, Germany team, which stated that one of the biggest influences of the modernized design was Swiss watches. With more soft-touch and leather appointments, the new Sorento may appeal to a new audience. We also expect a larger infotainment screen to find a home in the new model, and Kia will also add its latest HMI, or human-machine interface, for a better ownership experience. As said last week, the all-new Kia Sorento will make its first appearance in Korea this month, before it will make its European debut in Paris. Source: Kia
